Fire Ants

Fire ants have multiple queens, extremely large colonies, and should not be treated or sprayed by anyone but a professional pest control operator. This insect does bite and will attack in large numbers if you walk on their nest or pose as a threat to them. If a non-professional or a homeowner sprays fire ant mounds as they would regular ants, the ants will spread and infest your area. They are very difficult to eliminate and control.
