The crews are trained to check all areas for toys and pet food, or containers for pet food and/or water, before they treat an area. In addition to stringent safety training, the crews are trained to be courteous, thorough, considerate not only in behavior, but also in the handling of equipment and ladders. The crews are trained to check their work and clean-up the work area before leaving a complex or residence.
